Blocked Shimano Freehub for Pinion

enRecently I built a Pinion gearbox commuter bike and used a pair of Shimano 27.5". The rear wheel has a normal 9/10 speed Shimano freehub and the pinion also has a built-in freewheel mechanism making it kind of strange when you startup or restart pedaling as two freewheel mechanisms kick in. To solve this, I modified the Shimano freehub and block it in a fixed position. I removed the freehub, removed the rubber seal in the back, degreased it completely in a petrol and acetone bath and silver brazed it on the back side. It works, it's cheap, clean and strong.
